Amber Davis
Amber Davis is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. After obtaining my certification from my local community college, I have proudly served my community in various settings, including school nursing, holistic therapies—specializing in lymphedema through the Vodder Institute—and home health care. My approach to nursing emphasizes caring for the whole person, ensuring that I consider my patients' unique preferences and needs while delivering quality care.
As the Clinical Director, I am excited about the opportunity to assist former Hanford workers in maximizing their EEOICPA benefits, enabling them to receive free home health care services. My goal is to help these individuals maintain the quality of life they deserve while continuing to live comfortably at home.
Outside of my professional endeavors, I cherish spending time with my husband, our five adult children, and our four grandchildren, along with our two beloved cats. I also have a passion for traveling and gardening, which allows me to unwind and connect with nature.

Amelia Adkins
Meet Amelia Adkins, our Clinical and Marketing Director based in Knoxville, Tennessee. With five years of diverse nursing experience across various specialties, including orthopedics, trauma, medical-surgical care, and medical dermatology, Amelia brings an impressive blend of knowledge and compassion to her role.
Having been born and raised in Knoxville (Go Vols!), Amelia possesses a profound commitment to her community and the families she serves. This dedication is evident in her approach to nursing—she emphasizes a personal touch in every interaction, often expressing, "I look forward to caring for your family members as if they were my own." This philosophy drives her to foster meaningful relationships with her clients and their loved ones, ensuring they feel supported and valued.
In her capacity as Clinical and Marketing Director, Amelia expertly combines her clinical expertise with a passion for patient-centered care and community outreach. She diligently works to uphold the highest standards of service while maintaining a robust connection with the local community. By prioritizing both clinical excellence and the needs of her clients, Amelia plays a crucial role in ensuring that our services are not only effective but also deeply rooted in compassion and understanding.

Jennie Courtney
My name is Jennie Courtney, and I am proud to serve as the Senior Case Manager for the Nuclear Workers Alliance agency. I earned my RN, BSN degree from Oregon Health & Science University at Eastern Oregon State College in La Grande, Oregon, graduating in 1987. My nursing career began at St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA, where I initially worked on the Neuro-Rehab floor before transitioning to the Emergency Room Department.
In 2010, I took on a new challenge as a School Nurse in the Walla Walla School District, where I had the opportunity to support students and their families in a different capacity. I joined the Nuclear Workers Alliance agency in 2017, bringing with me a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to serving our clients.
As the Senior Case Manager, my role involves assessing new clients, developing personalized Home Care Plans, and advocating for each client’s nursing care hours with the Department of Labor’s Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program (EEOICP). I firmly believe that every client is entitled to the full range of benefits available for their covered conditions, and I work diligently to ensure that they receive the healthcare support they need in the comfort of their own homes.
Outside of my professional responsibilities, my husband and I enjoy spending our free time walking our dog, watching various sports, and traveling to new destinations. I am passionate about both my work and my personal life, aiming to make a positive impact on the lives of those I serve.

Joy Selvage
Joy Selvage is a dedicated healthcare professional with 17 years of experience in the industry, specializing for the past 7 years in care management. Throughout her career, Joy has focused on empowering clients to effectively manage their healthcare conditions, significantly enhancing the quality of care they receive. She employs a holistic approach by assessing her clients' physical, psychological, and social needs, which allows her to create comprehensive and tailored care plans that address each individual's unique circumstances.
In addition to her expertise in care management, Joy coordinates services and resources to ensure clients have access to the support they require. She is passionate about providing education and guidance not only to her clients but also to their families, equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the complexities of healthcare.
Joy's dedication to improving the lives of those in her care is further evidenced by her active involvement in the community. She serves on several boards of directors, where she contributes her insights and expertise to help shape policies and initiatives that benefit individuals with diverse healthcare needs. With a specific focus on Alzheimer’s and dementia care, Joy brings 10 years of extensive experience working with patients affected by these conditions, demonstrating her compassion and commitment to enhancing the quality of life for both patients and their families.
Joy's multifaceted role in healthcare, combined with her strong advocacy for patient-centered care, makes her an invaluable asset to any organization, as she tirelessly works to ensure that her clients receive the highest standard of care possible.

Kayla Millard
Kayla Millard has been an integral part of Nuclear Workers Alliance (formerly known as Caring Hearts Agency) since April 2017. In her role as Office Manager, Kayla focuses on ensuring that client authorizations and in-home care requests are consistently up-to-date and processed smoothly. Her responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including managing billing needs, monitoring payroll, scheduling, and maintaining communication with client medical benefits examiners regarding care requirements. Kayla's dedication to her role is evident in her genuine care for clients; she strives to assist both clients and their families in every possible way to ensure that their needs and expectations are met.
Having resided in the Tri-Cities area since 2010, Kayla currently lives in Pasco with her husband and two daughters. She is passionate about her community and works diligently to ensure that individuals in the area receive the help and care they deserve. Kayla’s commitment to improving the lives of those around her reflects her strong belief in compassionate support and advocacy for those needing assistance.

Lisa Harvey
Lisa Harvey is a seasoned healthcare professional with an impressive 33 years of experience in the field, 24 of which she has dedicated to working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Throughout her extensive nursing career, Lisa has spent the majority of her time—25 years—specializing in home health care, where she has excelled in both skilled and non-skilled roles. This hands-on experience has provided her with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and rewards associated with delivering care in a home setting.
In addition to her direct patient care experience, Lisa also served as an administrator for eight years, where she successfully managed an assisted living facility. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing various aspects of operations, ensuring that residents received high-quality care while also managing staffing, compliance, and administrative functions. This experience in healthcare management further emphasizes her strong commitment to patient well-being and operational excellence.
Lisa’s comprehensive background in nursing and administration demonstrates her unwavering dedication to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the quality of care delivered within the community. Her extensive knowledge and compassionate approach make her an invaluable asset to any healthcare team, as she continues to advocate for the needs of her patients and the standards of care in the industry.

Sheryl Soutra
With over 50 years of diverse accounting experience, Sheryl Soutra has dedicated the last 19 years of her career to Senior Home Assistance of Tennessee. In her role as Accounting Director, she is responsible for computing, classifying, and recording numerical data to maintain accurate and complete financial records. Sheryl adeptly handles a variety of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll processing, and banking activities. She also manages the renewal and filing of claims for liability and workers' compensation insurance, ensuring compliance and financial integrity.
In addition to her accounting responsibilities, Sheryl effectively oversees the day-to-day operations of the office. This includes ordering necessary supplies, coordinating with utility providers, and managing relationships with cleaning services and IT companies. Her extensive experience and attention to detail enable her to keep the office running smoothly and efficiently, contributing significantly to the overall success of Senior Home Assistance. Sheryl’s commitment to excellence and her wealth of knowledge in the accounting field make her an invaluable asset to our team.
